Today was a trying day. By that I mean, I was pulled in a lot of directions testing a lot of my skills. It was good.
- We had our weekly Corporate Partnerships/Community Relations/Broadcasting interdepartmental meeting to go over the last week's worth of new business. Every meeting gets more full of news and notes as we get closer to the season and events. It's also exciting to hear about new potential partner business. Watching my superiors do what they do best is inspiring.
- I sat in on a very exciting meeting with corporate partner Old Dominion. They are a current partner and reached out to us about expanding our current deal and renewing it for years to come. Talk about a call we needed to return! I am very appreciative that Josh my VP of Corporate Sales invited me to sit in because the conversation was very informative. I had no idea their involvement with other teams in MLB.
- Today was Day Two of emptying boxes of jerseys onto the floor in our workspace to eventually organize them by little league and put them into boxes to give to coaches at this weekend's Coaches Clinics. We finished the unboxing and began the reboxing. Tiresome work, but it was different. I'll say it beats looking for work!
